Royal Mail appoints Simon Thompson as chief executive

Ex-Ocado executive, who worked on NHS Test and Trace, tasked with £1.8bn overhaul Royal Mail has appointed a former Ocado executive as its new boss, putting him in charge of a sweeping overhaul of the postal business.
